Olive tree pruning / management of pruning residues

In the context of the implementation of the actions of Law (EU) 611/2014 & 615/2014 for the period 2018-2021, the Quality Assurance and Food Safety Department of Proactive - Business Consultants, collaborating with pioneer cooperatives and producer organizations of Crete, implements actions of work programs, with the aim, on the one hand, of strengthening the competitiveness of olive cultivation and, on the other hand, of improving the quality of olive oil production.

For the 2nd year of implementation of the program, a training seminar was held on 13/02/2020 for the producers of the Kritsa Agricultural Cooperative, on the topic: "Pruning olive trees / management of pruning residues".

The speaker was the agronomist, professor emeritus of arboriculture TEI of Crete Mr. Spyridon Lionakis.

The seminar was held in Kritsa.
